A certain broker in Vanadzor sold one of the public gardens by fraud to the town resident as a construction site. It later turned up that the same area was six times sold within six months. Broker Vachik Karapetyan conducted transactions with the support of a town notary and local structure of State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre. The deceived person, Verichka Ananyan complained about it to Lori provincial prosecutor's office, however instead of exposing the crime they shouted at the woman and later a police officer who was sent to her house, attempted to dictate the victim what to write in her application. Some time later, the police discontinued the case.
