On September 20, the "Introduction to Corruption" course of the "Anti-Corruption Academy" program was launched via Zoom platform. TIAC implements the Anti Corruption Academy program jointly with the Academy of Public Administration of Armenia and the Open Society Foundations-Armenia (OSF).

TIAC Executive Director Sona Ayvazyan and Acting Rector of the RA Academy of Public Administration Khachatur Ghazeyan delivered welcoming speeches at the beginning of the training.

Max Bader, Senior Lecturer in Russian and Eurasian Studies at Leiden University, joined the faculty. Dr. Bader’s research interests include elections, authoritarian politics, democratization, and new media.

The aim of the training is to provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge of corruption, its factors, types, corruption risks in the political, economic and social spheres, its consequences, anti-corruption policy institutions, anti-corruption tools in Armenia.

The course will be conducted through lectures, seminars, debates, practical problems, tests, didactic materials, videos, recorded lectures that promote self-education of the participants, etc.

By completion of the course the participants will receive certificates.
