The project aims to enhance the legal framework for assessing the effects of public and private projects, as well as of certain plans and environmental programs and to ensure the compliance of Armenia to its international obligations prescribed by respective international conventions. The project analyzes the existing gaps within the legal and policy framework; drafts a new law; and organizes expert assessment of the draft, public debates, and a campaign for its adoption.
