Assessment of legislation and practice of private donations to political parties in Armenia
The project was aimed at revealing both legal and practical shortcomings which act as obstacles for private persons (natural and legal persons) to donate financial means to political parties across political landscape in Armenia. During the research period representatives of political parties, private donors who made significant donations to opposition political parties, independent experts and representatives of state authorities were interviewed. Some of the most crucial state institutions (Central Electoral Commission) and political parties rejected/procrastinated/avoided to give interviews.
