The project aims to exchange knowledge, skills and experience to raise the capacity of civil society organizations in monitoring conflict of interest policies at central and local level; initiate a dialogue between CSOs and public authorities to advocate for the institution of efficient conflict of interest policies; ensure visibility of the action and conduct awareness campaign.

Closing event of conflict of interest project
On June 29-30, 2015 Sona Ayvazyan, Deputy Director of Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) participated in the closing event of EU funded "Engaging Civil Society in Monitoring Conflict of Interests" project in Brussels, Belgium. In this project, six partner NGOs from Moldova, Armenia, Poland and Ukraine (TI-Moldova, Stefan Batory Foundation, TIAC, Eurasia Partnership Foundation - Armenia, TI-Ukraine and the Ukrainian Institute for Public Policies) have worked jointly over the past two years to consolidate the capacity of civil society organizations in monitoring conflict of interest policies. The NGOs called on their governments to align with European values and standards related to CoI policies. The project activities included legal expertise, focus groups, opinion polls, monitoring activities, training, awareness raising activities and advocacy campaigns.
Presentation of the first working year results of “Engaging civil society in monitoring conflict of interest policies in Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries” project implementation
Transparency International Anticorruption Center (hereinafter TIAC) and Eurasia Partnership Foundation (hereinafter EPF) have carried out joint research on conflict of interest in public institutions of the Republic of Armenia. Funded by the European Union, the project is conducted within the framework of “Engaging civil society in monitoring conflict of interest policies in EaP countries” project in four countries (Moldova, Armenia, Poland, and Ukraine) by six partner organizations (Transparency International - Moldova, Stefan Batory Foundation (Poland), Ukrainian Institute for Public Policy and Transparency International - Ukraine, Transparency International Anticorruption Center (Armenia) and Eurasia Partnership Foundation (Armenia).
Brainstorming: "Engaging Civil Society in Monitoring Conflict of Interest Policies"
Sona Ayvazyan, Deputy Director of Transparency International Anti-corruption Center (TIAC) participated in brainstorming meeting within the framework of implementation of "Engaging Civil Society in Monitoring Conflict of Interest (CoI) Policies" project. Held in Kiev on August 20-21, 2013, the objective of the event was to exchange knowledge, skills and experience to raise the capacity of civil society organisations in monitoring conflict of interest policies at central and local level in four EU and EaP countries - Poland, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia. TIAC launched the project since July 1, 2013. The event was organized by TI-Moldova and TI-Ukraine.
