The project's goal is contribute to the reduction of corruption in public procurement in Armenia by identifying problems at the selection stage of the procurement process. The following activities are taken to achieve that goal: review of best practices among national procurement systems; interviews with respective state officials and representatives of bidding companies; observation of bid evaluation and selection stages of procurement in public organizations; analysis of obtained data; preparation of policy paper reflecting the findings of the project; meetings and a workshop with relevant decision-makers on the proposed recommendations based on the research; introductory meetings for the businesses to share research results; articles in newspapers on the results of the research.
