Monitoring of the Implementation of Program Budgeting in Selected Areas and Selected Measures of the 2016-2020 Action Plan of the Public Finance Management System Reforms in Armenia

The goal of the project is to contribute to the formulation and implementation of effective anti-corruption policies in Armenia by promoting transparent and accountable public finance management system. The project will monitor and analyze the measures of public finance management reforms, the EU conditionalities related to these reforms as defined in the Multi-Sector Budget Support Program to the Government of Armenia and the implementation of these conditionalities, especially in program budgeting, citizens’ awareness of the state budget processes, oversight role of the National Assembly, external controls by the Chamber of Accounts (which will replace the current Chamber of Control starting from April 9, 2018) and public finance internal controls.
