Support and Advocacy for the Improvement of Program Budgeting Practices in the Area of Justice in Armenia

The overall goal of the Project is to promote good governance in Armenia in its political, economic and social development processes through fostering transparency, accountability and participation, engaging the public and initiating advocacy for reforms. In the framework of the project, TIAC will develop new non-financial indicators or revise the existing ones for the area of justice in cooperation with relevant governmental institutions, mainly with the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Finance, as well as corresponding standing committees of the National Assembly to include these indicators or their revised versions (resulted from the joint work with these structures) in the 2020 state budget Involvement of TIAC will help to reflect the perspectives of civil society in the budget programs and their non-financial indicators.
