Description

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the accountability system in the public education sector of the Republic of Armenia (RA) based on external state audit reports. The study aims to identify the key issues within the accountability mechanism and suggest possible improvements.

The research identified several issues within the accountability process, along with legislative gaps, which significantly affect the accountability of the public education sector.

This research has been carried out with financial support from the European Union under the Strengthening Accountability Networks among Civil Society (SANCUS) project, implemented by Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC).
